| TILT Tips Wants Your Technology Tips – In each edition of TILT Tips, we try to highlight some teachers who are doing great things with technology. As teachers, students, or administrators you’ve probably seen technology being used to engage students and help them with their work. Remember that “great” things, don’t have to be huge things, and technology doesn’t mean just computers! Send us a Technology Tip and that school will be entered in a draw for technology equipment. | The Technology Integration Leadership Team (TILT) in Program supports principals and teachers in ensuring that the Public Schools Program and curricula are implemented in order to maximize student learning experiences, and that school-based technology is employed as recommended. Working with both English and French program support teams and schools, the Technology Integration Leadership Team designs curriculum implementation, assessment activities and professional development opportunities to support the integration of technology in the classroom, aligning the Department of Education initiatives with our board focus. Consistent with the Department of Education and Halifax Regional School Board policies, the Technology Integration Leadership Team works within an established framework for the implementation and evaluation of these programs. Working collaboratively with other Curriculum Implementation professionals, the Technology Integration Leadership Team demonstrates a strong commitment to the Planning for Improvement process in support of student achievement. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
