Halifax Regional School Board

Curriculum Implementation is responsible for coordinating curriculum for all students. This includes English Programs, French Programs and Technology Integration. This team will ensure that teachers will receive training in curriculum, instruction and assessment as defined by the provincial documents. Curriculum implementation establishes curriculum and instructional priorities in response to provincial and board initiatives. The board’s vision focuses on student achievement in the areas of literacy and math. Teachers and administrators will receive support that is focused on the alignment and implementation of these programs in schools.

The curriculum implementation team will be advocates for improved student learning and will be catalysts for a vision for educational change. Support will be provided to all educators to achieve curriculum outcomes and move forward with the vision of the Halifax Regional School Board.
